This Bordeaux-style blend from Dunnigan Hills (90 points) combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec for a bold yet balanced profile. The 2021 vintage offers aromas of blackberry, dark chocolate and cedar, unfolding to reveal flavors of plum, espresso and a touch of graphite. Aged 16 months in French and American oak (35% new), it strikes a perfect balance between ripe California fruit and Old World structure. The tannins are substantial but polished, leading to a long, spice-laden finish. Pair with grilled ribeye or mushroom risotto.
